branding youth travel

 

Working with the Federation of Youth Travel Organisations (FIYTO), the global trade organisation needed to rebrand its position within the youth travel industry.

They wanted the campaign to be used at conferences, to demonstrate what youth travel was all about and their position as its leading trade global body.

Working with Art Director Gerard Whelan, I chose to use famous quotes and key action words that describe youth travel. Gerry picked striking images to set the text on, and the results were fantastic. Not only did the organisation embrace it, two of the world�s largest travel conferences, ITB Berlin, and the World Travel Mart in London, have adopted the messaging to promote youth and student travel at its fairs.  FIYTO has since merged with ISTC to form the WYSE Travel Confederation. They continue to use and reuse the campaign.

Four other travel associations under the confederation continue to use my messaging developed with art director Hernan Huergo for their brand message.
